Meet the Architect
Dr. Allison Storochuk is the architect and guiding professor behind The Clarinet ArchiteX. Her approach to teaching is built on a solid foundation of elite international performance and dedicated pedagogical study.
As a performer, Dr. Storochuk has built a career that spans the globe, with performances in Canada, the United States, Japan, England, and Austria. She is the principal clarinetist of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and the Springfield Regional Opera, and has been featured on numerous recordings and CBC National Broadcasts.
Dr. Storochuk holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from Arizona State University and a Certificate of Performance from Northwestern University, where she studied under master "builders" like Robert Spring and Russell Dagon.
Currently a Professor of Clarinet at Missouri State University, she has spent her career designing and refining the pedagogical methods that form the framework of this guide.
